- St Mary Mother of Beautiful Love
A white marble sculpture showing the Holy Virgin, created with classic features and seated frontally. Her left arm is encircling the Child, who is stood upright, raised on a pedestal formed by nine books with the names of the first Faculties of the University of Navarre indicated, one on each spine. The ensemble is resting on a base formed by a book on Civil Law, being the first studies to be imparted at the University. The Child is blessing with his right hand whilst holding a rose to his Mother in his left hand. The Italian sculptor Pasquale Sciancalepore has achieved a work of art using a completelyrealistic language, with elegant proportions and a harmonious and well-balanced composition. From the nineteen fifties onwards, his works took on greater expressivity.
