- Dialogue in the fountain
The work is mounted on a circular cement base. Standing in this space are three monoliths of different heights and geometric shapes. The central one, in the foreground, houses the fountain itself, with a drain at its foot. The entire ensemble is constructed along extremely austere lines, with smooth planes, free from any sign of decoration. The sculptor clearly embodies pure geometric abstraction, reating a simple, basic work, using form schematisation, verging on the minimal. This sculptural work was commissioned by the Pamplona District Water Board and the City Council, and is part of a series ofsculptural fountains installed around the city and in other district localities.
